Can't wait to see Fernandez, Small, and Burns clogging up the middle this season and allowing our ends and backers to rush and flow to the ball. We'll be in good shape for the 3-4 this year as long as other teams don't pull a cheap Ga. Southern take out.

Upon seeing this thread, I found a gif I made but didn't use showing Tyson's injury via cheapshot. It was flagged.

Interesting they list him as an Offensive linemen? I thought he was moved to Defensive Tackle. Right?

He has been. The info hasn't been updated on the appstatesports.com website yet. SID usually puts the new info out the first week or so of July but TF spent the entire spring at NT and Coach talked about him and Small in the middle once Small returns from the injury he got in the Ga. Sou. game.

Quote from the Q & A article With Coach Satterfield on appstatesports.com:

I'm also excited to see the development of Darian Small and Tyson Fernandez at nose tackle. Those are two really big guys. Tyson had a really good spring (Darian was sitting out because of the leg injury he sustained against Georgia Southern last year) and we are looking forward to seeing more of what those guys can do this summer and fall. We've never really had the kind of size that they give us up front and I think that with their size, ability and a little bit of experience under their belts, they can shore up the middle of our defensive front and help our linebackers run and make plays.
