I don't remember getting this kind of positive coverage for Sean Connery saying "Welcome to the Rock!

Sean Connery did the welcoming to The Rock in the last several games this year as well.

I think it's great, and I was surprised to hear the uproar about an alum saying "Welcome to The Rock" instead of a Scottish actor that thinks football requires "no hands." But, that was just me. I mean, I'm good either way, just wish football season wasn't so far away!

I have nothing against the Connery intro, but I just thought this shows what is impressive to others.
Also it's a "tip of the hat" to the people that put the whole video package together. Especially with us entering the FBS I think it will say a lot more about who we are than a YouTube video clip from a movie that had nothing to do with us.

Could have made the entire thing perfect if they would not have cut the welcome and just said welcome to the rock!

Can put me firmly in this camp as well! We should embrace our Alumni.
