I guess Fergerson's foot must be better. Looks like they are really going to try and keep the shirt on Holloway. My guess is we're going to see a run and gun offense with a lot of five wides and empty backfield sets or sets with Frazier as blocking back. It will be interesting to see what SS has dialed up. Holloway will be there if needed.

Agree with moose - Halloway will be dressed and available if needed, but I imagine that he'll be off the depth chart and won't see the field unless absolutely necessary. Satterfield will figure something out. We may not be 50/50 pass-run, and we may not be what you would consider "dynamic", but I think we'll be ok. It might even turn into the old June Jones Hawaii-throw it 70 times-score in 3 minutes or less kinda game.

Also have Tacoi Sumler in Middletons spot at KR along side Tony Washington. And Aaron Krah at CB.

Sumler returned a kickoff at the end of the game last week and i noticed he was back with Troy the last 2-3 kicks.

I thought we'd play a 3-4 or 4-3 for this game vs. having 5 DBs.

Krah over Walker is a surprise since Walker was vying for a starting role until he went out with an illness. Has Krah surpassed him or they are trying to work RW back in slowly?
*EDIT* Waiting for Walker to be cleared medically.

I thought Rodger Walker might get moved over to the left corner slot instead of true frosh Aaron Krah, but Krah did play pretty well against EZU. I expect a lot of 3-4 defense to slow down the Griz 2 100-yard rushers in week one. Kimbrough will have a chance to really bust some heads on Saturday.

With 3 Frosh and 3 Sophs. starting on D this week, this seems to be the youngest defensive unit we've put on the field in several years. Just an observation.

I hope Ferguson's foot is better. I believe he was in a boot earlier this week but they are often used as a cautionary or protective measure.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Frazier can do. We gave up a solid defensive player to convert him over to RB. I have to think he will add something to the O. I hate that Chisholm is hurt, especially since he was having a solid performance against ECU but I believe we have more depth than people think at RB.

Acey played RG the entire game vs ECU. I was critical of him starting last year especially knowing McClain was terrible, but have complete confidence in Ledford and Satterfield to only play the best guys.

Satterfield (or Ledford one) had high praise for Acey during camp. He was quoted as saying that Acey was the smartest player on the line. I know the proper line for some is that he was the favorite of the staff last year and so he couldn't have really been that good. Apparently even the former coach could recognize his ability.

I don't think we should put all our money in the depth chart. It doesn't mean we'll actually start with that 11 on the field. I do think we'll see a bigger outside backer instead of the 5th db.

What's your question? --- why is he not at center? or why is he playing at all? ---

Noticed Fisher took out ECU's all everything nose guard. Could be out for the year.

My fear was that he was moved from center to guard due to yet another injury. Glad to hear otherwise.
