So App will never make it onto an EA Sports NCAA Football game. . Just ONE more year and we would have been on it. For those who play, this is awful. I was waiting on it so badly...the real stadium, the fight song, etc. Bummed.

Not necessarily. The article says each school is individually responsible for what property they license to EA. The 2015 game could easily be called EA Sports College Football '15. The only thing the NCAA did was to take their name off the product.

True. I read more about it after I had posted. Read that much of the licensing for the game goes through Collegiate Licensing Company, so if EA can keep its license with them then they can still have the game but under another name. Just have to wait I guess.

I wouldn't be shocked if EA licenses with the BCS and only puts BCS conferences in the game.

The game has a team builder and you can share your made teams for others to download. In that pic he is rated an 80 overall. Honestly with the past games in mind I highly doubt EA would rate him an 80 just because of who we are. They aren't typically that kind to the lower teams.

Excellent news. Statement from EA sports:

"By now, most fans will have heard that EA's licensing agreement with the NCAA is set to expire and that we have agreed to part ways. I'm sure gamers are wondering what this means.

This is simple: EA SPORTS will continue to develop and publish college football games, but we will no longer include the NCAA names and marks. Our relationship with the Collegiate Licensing Company is strong and we are already working on a new game for next generation consoles which will launch next year and feature the college teams, leagues and all the innovation fans expect from EA SPORTS.

We took big creative strides with this year's college game and you'll see much more in the future. We love college football and look forward to making more games for our fans."

Shewww ...

I was worried. It appears they are still going to make the games!!!

I wonder if they go with our stadium based on pictures or a stadium scan like they did at USA? I understand USA raised hell and high water to get the scan.

EA Sports agreed to do that because USA was left out in the previous edition. So while USA is getting the VIP treatment for this years game, it's because they were forgotten about in the previous years game.
