Re: New subject re. Coaching… or maybe not
I doubt it means anything more than visiting.
Dex is getting up there in years and hasn't even been a head HS coach, as far as I know. He is down in Texas.
AE is 34, He might take one more contract in the CFL if he can get a look. Otherwise, I could see him sticking around the Charlotte area and work on business ventures. He also has no coaching experience.
Experience means a lot in the coaching world.

Yes. His son was here for a camp. Coakley is too reserved for the coaching gig.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:48 pmWonder if Coakley visiting in relation to getting son visits on college campuses.

And this is how rare that is. There is some fishy stuff going on with that one. I wanna know how much dirt Saturday has on people.
Edit: I just saw his son is WR for UNC. He is a junior with 0 stats. 5-10 185lbs. Def the Mack brown influence.

I know and agree. I think the whole thing is odd.appdaze wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 8:03 pm"Saturday is the first NFL head coach with no prior college or professional coaching experience since Norm Van Brocklin with the Minnesota Vikings in 1961."AppinVA wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:49 pmJeff Saturday wants someone to hold his beer.appdaze wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:43 pmI doubt it means anything more than visiting.

We have a lot of former players on game days consistently. It has been a point of emphasis by the Department.Perhaps it's just that.

But I’m not sure I agree with him being “too reserved”. I think some of the best coaches (mentors) are pretty reserved.
