Of course it should be easy. Was surprised that RMU did decent this past weekend against A&T compared to their previous games. But still could be the worst FCS this year.

Go 1-0. I don't care if its Ohio State or Asheville-Buncombe Tech.

Let's all of us on YC suit up and take one for the team so they can and be "PREPARED" for the Beach Chickens.

DraftKings has
APP "YC" - 14.5 to Robert Morris

I know this was a result of some last minute scheduling issues with the conference realignment, but kinda hate that we are even playing this game.

Glad that RMU will get a payday to help fund their own athletics, glad our freshman will get plenty of snaps, but that’s about it.

Funny enough they kept it respectable against Miami Ohio (31-14), but this might be the worst FCS team we’ve ever faced.

it might just be me, but I've always thought Shawn Clark looked like Fred Flinstone

If you need to schedule a 2nd FCS game that won't county, at least schedule a really damn bad one. Which we have.

Good news is that this should help the team before the Thursday game at Coastal. The Chants have to go to Marshall on Saturday, which is a tough turnaround for Thursday.

Yes we had to replace Marshall as an OOC at the last minute.

If we win out we won't need anyone's help...that's a big if though.

At this point, we just need to win and everything else is taken care of. We really don't need any more favors. Unless of course we drop another conference game in which chase we would need Marshall and Ga State to win, but I am feeling good that we win out.

Should be an easy win, good opportunity to do some drills and work out some kinks and rest some of the starters before Conway.

If I was coach, I would tell the starters they have 2 quarters, at the most, to have fun and stay sharp, then that's it. I can be pessimistic by nature, but after looking at RM on paper, this will be a waxing for sure. they are averaging 10 points a game and giving up 34, in the Big South. Yikes. Looking forward to seeing some reps for the backups/future of ASU Football.

I just hope we get thru this game injury free.
I peeked at stats vs Coastal. Yes I looked ahead. We are surprisingly close in nearly every state listed on the ESPN game match up. We are like 66% of win probability against them. Will be another down to the wire like last year more than likely

Cupcake discussion - I think most of us feel this should be an easy game and we may even get our 3rd string guys in. As an RM player/coach/fan would you rather see us continue to score ( not so much running up the score but RMs inability to stop us) or us run for a 1st down then slide or go down to keep the clock running, but not try to score?

No one wants to see their team get slaughtered, but I'd rather a team beat us like they're capable of than to play "oh I feel sorry for you so we're going to try not to score."

I liken it to the Miami game that we all try to forget in 2016. They came in and slaughtered us and it made us better for the future. It's a measuring stick.

For me, the first goal is to get the W of course, then get significant playing time for the 2s and 3s and let our starters get a little playing time to stay tuned up but to get rested and not injured in this game which means nothing.

I'm glad the schedule makers didn't give us a tough away game on Saturday night starting at 7 and a turn around Thursday game against another tough opponent,

A team that's up 4 or more touchdowns shouldn't leave their starters in. However, if my team's 3rd stringers are still scoring at will against your guys, well, that's on you buddy. Play better defense.
