Since football season is on the backburner except for hiring/firing/movement of coaches, recruiting, transfers and the like, a thread relegated to examples of coach speak "adages" and the like seems to be in order.

Here's a starter: The referees seem to get only half of the calls correct.
The ones the opponent thought were unfair, we thought were correct. The calls we thought were fair, the opponent felt the opposite. In other words we thought the referees gave them the game.

They are a well-coached team.

After a loss by any FB coach when asked a question..I am not sure why we did not execute. We practiced it all week. I will need to look at the film.
