Different threads don't matter. We had 4 or 5 regarding the BYU-Coastal game, yet no one complained. Carry on, daze.

We deserve to at least play a team with a winning record.

SBC's Facebook account confirms it's us versus North Texas in the MB Bowl on 12/21. Not exactly what I wanted but frankly we had two chances to compete in a better bowl (and probably become ranked in the process) which we didn't seal the deal on so oh well. Let's keep our undefeated bowl streak alive.

Not to assume it's an "easy" victory but honestly, kinda relieved it's not some big matchup and is an easy, familiar destination...after what the team has been through every week since whenever, glad they will have a less pressure packed game...gives everybody a chance to exhale, end on a high note, have some momentum into the off season and in the end hopefully keep our bowl streak alive.

wonder what the logistics will be though w/ the CC game 48 hours before...just a trip down and walk through on Sunday?

NT actually averages more points per game than we do. Of course, they give up twice what we do.

I'm wondering how much Covid factors into this decision. Conway isn't that far away from App compared to Mobile, Montgomery, New Orleans or Orlando, so maybe geographic reasons is why we're playing in it.

The bowl games are typically rewards for the players and their families.

Myrtle Beach Bowl is at the bottom rung and was never going to attract a premier opponent, but it’s fantastic for App players and family. Minimal travel. Can have fans.

I think this is a great outcome for a weird year.

And just like that, app state is irrelevant to espn

I hope we can get tickets and get down back to Dirty Myrtle for another game in 2020. That last one kinda sucked. I would really enjoy taking over parking lot GG again and some tailgating with App Nation one more time this year!! It would be great for our Seniors to go out with another bowl win! #BeatNorthTexas
