247 confirms APP St will play in Dirty Myrtle. No opponent yet

Hearing North Texas. Has anyone seem them play this year?

They just said Conf USA or MAC. Nothing confirmed yet but sounds like it.

I saw their scores and figured we should be favored then but have not seen them. The WR is Darden and their RB Torrey is suppose to be pretty good. It will be interesting to see how Darden does with Jean-Charles and Jolly.

4-5 overall with an FCS win. Lost by 30 to SMU, 28 to Charlotte, 32 to UTSA. Wins over MTSU, Rice and UTEP.

Well... depends on how you look at it... Def. an opponent to keep the bowl streak alive anyway...

This is why we cant afford to not win conference. We get a 4-5 opponent on the 21st at 2:30.

So my question is:
Are you going?
I suspect a similar amount of 5000 or so tickets will be available as they had for their home games. You can expect NT not to bring many fans.
So it seems tickets should be plentiful for anyone who wants to see APP play in person.
A quick check of hotel rooms in Myrtle Beach on a Sunday night show dirt cheap rates. 3 hour drive from Charlotte?

We are 60th in Sagarin and 26th in S and P.
I'm guessing an early line would be maybe App -20.
Could be a trap Bowl Game. Our guys will need to be pumped.

And, yes, I want to go. I live near MB, have seen two losses in person this season. I want to see a Bowl win.

Have we played a really good team in any of our bowl games? - The SBC tie-ins are terrible - possibly with what APP has done over the last several years and ULL and CCU this season maybe someone with take an interest in our conference which is only behind the AAC in the G5- If CCU doesn't make the NY6 we'll see what the SBC can do - and ULL if they win - the winner will be at least a top 15 team and my guess both will play in a 3rd tier bowl - I hope not
