What in the heck happened to Drinkwitz's Missouri team vs Georgia? Good thing they gave him millions and they can't take it back. Just kidding, if they give him enough time, he'll likely be OK.
Of course Mizoo is above .500 in his first year at least. No sarcasm intended.

Yep, live by the dollar, die by the dollar. However, he can't completely lose even if they fired him tonight. He can leave and laugh all the way to the bank.

It was only 21-14 at the half and that's with GA scoring right at the end of the half. The second half was a different matter. They have out performed expectations but have fallen way short against the top of the league. My guess is that the fan base in COMO can live with year 1.

Check out the other SEC teams who had coaching changes since last year.
Mississippi State- 2019 finished 6-7 with a bowl loss. 2020 2-7 and will probably lose to Mizzou and Drink next week.
Ole Miss- 2019 finished 4-8 with no bowl. 2020 they are 4-4 and might finish 5-5 if they play well against LSU.
Arkansas- 2-10 last year, 3-7 this year.
Meanwhile, Missouri went 6-6 last year and will probably finish this year 6-4. It’s also important to keep in mind the SEC didn’t play any non-conference games this year, so no cupcakes to pad stays in 2020.
Keep hating on Drinkwitz. It is true he did not leave App on great terms. But if you don’t think he’s one of the best new coaches in the P5, you’re kidding yourself.

I watched the Georgia/Missouri game yesterday. Missouri hung tough for half, which is more than I expected them to do. I don't think any reasonable person would have expected a close game for Drink vs the top of the SEC. The two score spread was easy money for a betting person.

Mizzou has done better than I thought they would coming into the season. It will be interesting to see how Drink recruits and develops his own talent, that is the biggest question mark for him.

Drink can coach, I’ll give him that. Got Mizzou ranked for a week, which has to please their fans. I have to think that if he’d stayed for one more year we’d be playing next weekend and be fighting for a New Years bowl.

And if he had stayed maybe understood the significance of what playing Stink U is all about.

The Tigers don’t have the horses to go 60 minutes with the Dawgs , yet. They do play an entertaining game and have overachieved in year one.

This is what is expected when you have lesser talent left behind from a program that has been neglected for years. Gawgia is a top 10 or so team.. Especially since they finally saw the light to put Daniels at QB.
If this is the score 5 years from now.. Good topic for Mizzou fan board. However if I am a Mizzou fan, I am ecstatic with these first year results

Nobody will be able to convince me that, if we had the same coaching staff as last year, we would be undefeated and probably in national conversation like Coastal is... oh well...
