NewApp, I know that you claim not to post to intentionally add to your monthly tally but threads like this really make one question that position. You are on this board on a very regular basis (I would guess daily but I don't know for sure) and actively post in a good percentage of threads throughout the entire cabin. Yet you come in and ask a question that was posted about ad nauseum since it was announced on OCTOBER 28. It is inconceivable to me that you can be on this board as often as you are and yet somehow be unaware of a significant game time that was announce prior to us even playing the Georgia Southern game. It really boggles my mind. But, if for some reason things like game times just don't click for you, I will save you the trouble of posting another thread for next weeks game. We play Georgia State, it is an away game and will be at 7:30 p.m. and is being televised on ESPNU.

I heard it was Carolina. Just not sure if it's North or South. You would think South, but some teams have started scheduling to play each other twice in one year, so you never know.

t4pizza, I did not see the October 28 post when it was posted. I sincerely hope I didn't cause you or your friends any unnecessary reading. Pardon me for asking. I was simply confirming before I made plans to travel to Columbia Saturday morning. Since it is on ESPN2, I can save some time, gas, driving, and $$$$ by sitting on the sofa with my son and enjoying it on the little TV.
The second poster in this thread answered my question without any bull crap. Why couldn't you and/or your friends have done likewise?

FYI, AppStFan1 is leading in posts with 75 followed by WataugaMan with 52. They get the coffee and donuts on you since you seem to be so are so concerned. I have 41 and will refrain from posting quite as much since it bothers you, Gonzo, Beaufoster, WataugaMan, Black Saturday, appdaze, Todd, et al so much.

Your posts don't bother me as much as they make me wonder how you can really not know some of the things you ask despite being a constant presence on the board. Unless your reading comprehension and retention are just god awful, which seems odd considering you have a college degree and spent a career in education (I believe that's what has been posted before but if I am incorrect I apologize), you seem to post many things that are repetitive in nature and easily known if you read the board or even do a simple search on the internet. But I know you position on searching the internet, 'the information you glean from here is quicker and more reliable' at least that the gist of what you say on the multiple times you have been called out for it. I am just saying, if you don't want to look like you are desperately trying to get your post count up perhaps post original threads. Otherwise it just leaves everyone with the impression that you are seeking some type of fulfillment by posting a lot. You have a good day as well.

I have discovered that it is the University of South Carolina, however, I'm not sure if it is USC Aiken or USC Upstate

I found that NewApp's posts started making more sense once I decided he is likely an ordinary person of normal intelligence and tech savvy who adopts the persona of a socially awkward Luddite as an ongoing effort to troll this board. I think he posts inane questions like this because he knows the reaction they'll get, and he gets a laugh from it.

I also think when he posts a question like this one (i.e., "I read a thing on this board that turned out to be wrong, and now I'm confused"), it's not really to get information, but rather to troll either the board in general or perhaps whoever made the incorrect guess on the game time. He did manage to find the official start time on App State's official website (which also publicized the announcement of kick time and TV coverage); I don't believe that anyone could seriously weigh that against some message board guess *before* the kick time was announced and genuinely not know which to believe. I think this is just his way of taunting whoever it was that guessed wrong.

Why would he act that way? Who knows. But for someone who is seemingly incapable of ascertaining the most basic, widely available information about a subject he pays close attention to, he displays quite a sharp memory for posts (and posters) on this board that have somehow earned his disapproval.
