USC Tailgate Lots - What Time Do They Open?

Anyone have any insight on this?
From what I’m reading online the fairground lots don’t open until 5 hours before kickoff?

I live in Columbia. The fairgrounds may open 5 hours before kickoff, but other lots down Bluff Rd are open just about all day. Parking is expensive. The last time I went to the stadium I parked over a mile away and it was $20. Of course the closer you get to the stadium, it is much more and majority of it is reserved.

Looking at today’s timeline for a 7:30 game a few lots open at 1:30 but most at 2:30; so 5 hours.

For those of us going down on Friday, where are APP fans gathering Friday night? I'm not familiar with Columbia at all.

Fairground lots will open at 2pm. I asked a USC grad at the Panthers game yesterday and he texted a friend who went to the Vandy game. His friend said he got in at 2:30 for the 7:30 kick-off. Our gang will be in the Blue Lot.

Sort of on subject. Will be with 2/3 old school app state buddies, 50 year olds (guys weekend roadtrip) 91'-92' classes. We looking for tailgate group to adopt us for day. We will course have our party favors, but don't have parking so gonna Uber in from hotel. Sorry to be long winded. Appalachian Alumni & fans are welcome at the Flying Saucer Daught Emporium for a rouser from 5:30-7:30 pm Friday.

I'm planning about 1:30 depending upon how many times my wife has to pee.

We're going to be hanging out at the River Rat Brewery starting at about 12 noon. It's a cool place and within walking distance to the stadium.

We bought a pass in the lot at 1401 Shop Rd. I just noticed that it says "lots open 4 hours before kickoff". I wonder if they will be enforcing that? If so, it will scramble our plans a bit.
