I would assume it's a given that we'll do some sort of recognition. Certainly would be appropriate.

I would say we should make a donation to an appropriate organization. Mental health issues are very real, very misunderstood and way to prevalent amongst our young folks.

I sent DG a message requesting we honor JW with 3 suggestions: paint his number #78 on each 22 yard line (78 yds from end zone), have McFarland wear a different number that game so no player has on #78 or have every player wear a JW/78 sticker on their helmet.

I agree AND it could be as simple as an announcement and a moment of silence before the National Anthem. I hope some part of AApp State will email the fans likely to attend the game with an opportunity to contribute to an appropriate charity that can be announced as well.

This is the best option.

I think the best thing and most common thing would be the helmet decals. Also a moment of silence. My high school coach who had been with my high school for over 30 years passed away two weeks ago. Before his death I had already planned to go watch my old high school play a road game at a high school close to me. The home team gave a moment of silence for Coach Krol, and it really made my heart feel good.

I'd say just do something simple and leave it at that. Leave the number paintings on the ground, helmet decals and charitable trust to Georgia Southern to take care of. Not trying to be a jerk but that's all stuff that they should be doing, we should acknowledge it I'm sure by the time next Thursday rolls around the Eagles will have already put things in motion.

An appropriate charity would be Hilinski's Hope. Tyler Hilinski who played QB at Washington State took his life. His younger brother Ryan is QB at USC. Just a suggestion.

Would like any sort of moment of silence follow by local student options for counseling and help with phone numbers or websites. Gotta remove the stigma from this condition

Lost a child at 23 to an overdose. That’s a parent’s worst nightmare.
