We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Parking South Alabama
There's a large lot right beside Ladd-Peebles that we parked in for the bowl game. I believe that's their booster lot. Then there's Williamson High School across the street. I can't imagine finding parking would be too terribly difficult. They've got plenty of flat space down there.
If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.

Possibly making the trip. There is a vacant lot on the NorthEast side of LP. Guy has a food stand and you parking fee includes a hot dog and drink. At least that was there at the last DG bowl.

Re: Parking South Alabama
It's Homecoming so crowd might be a little larger than usual but parking will be plentiful. Unlike the bowl game, parking inside the gates is for USA season ticket holders only.
Several options for parking:
Shuttle from JC Penny - Bel Air Mall. It starts running 4 hours prior to kick and 90 minutes after game. $2.50 each way and kids under 5 ride free
Uber is readily available and will drop off right in front of stadium.
Parking in people's yards for $10-20. If you get to stadium early you can park along fence on west side of stadium for free.
If you'd rather not pay to park in someones yard or risk getting blocked in or stuck, I highly suggest parking at the end of McDonald Ave and walking to the stadium. McDonald is a very nice residential street and a short walk to stadium. It's a dead end street but there is a walking path. You can park along the street and easily walk to the stadium. Being 11am kick it's plenty safe walking that area and locals will be out and about. My family parks here and we've never had an issue even at night. Just don't block people's drive ways.
Another free residential street to park is Macy Place
Tailgating lot opens at 8 and gates open at 9am. There's a Winn Dixie grocery store across from McDonald Ave if you need tailgate supplies. Once you get to Ladd it's kind of sparse in the lot. Concessions are terrible so eat up before game.
Let me know if you have any specific questionss about Mobile. Safe travels!

I am thinking hard about making the 8 hour drive from Tampa. Did it for the DG.AppNC wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 8:05 amIt's only a 10 hour drive/\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 7:24 pmFor a noon game?!? Re: Parking South Alabama
Wish I could go.
To all who make the trip, I recommend lunch or dinner (preferably dinner) at Felix's in Mobile along the causeway.
Best place ever! Looks like a rusty ol' shanty on poles, but inside its great Cajun fare. Mmmm. I'm not kidding when I say Felix's is worth the 10 hr. drive. I go there every time I go anywhere near Mobile.
