Defense with the blocked field goal, huge goal line stand, gave up 254 yards total offense; 131 rushing and 123 passing. Great job to hold that offense down and their scoring.

Aside: to the ESPN announcers our win over uncheat was NOT an upset! We were the better team and ULL is better than them also!

Perhaps you missed it, but Coach Drink announced several weeks ago that Blackstock had earned a scholarship.

I saw that. I should have written “former walk on”. Either way, it’s really neat to see him and former walk on Scott doing so well...and Earle made one of the biggest plays of the night in the first game action I’ve seen him in.

That was a an outstanding of a defensive performance as we could ask for with such a hyped opponent and lofty stats entering that game. In truth it should have been a shutout. Thanks for stepping up D!

Earle needs some PT, we need his size in there.
