Nose tackle

Markell Clark has yet to make an appearance, same with Earle.Scott is banged up. I’m more concerned about this position than anywhere else on the roster.

Markell has given up football. I talked to him in the stands Saturday, too many shoulder surgeries. You could tell he was extremely invested and wanted to be on the field. I believe he's helping the coaching staff now.

Wish him the best getting his degree and finding his calling. That must have been a really tough decision. Glad he put his health first.

Did not know that , he was penciled in as the starter last spring. We need Earle healthy , as well as Scott.

Definitely need Scott back. Not sure health is the issue with Earle; he may just be down the depth chart.

I’m glad this position got brought up. How about two former walk on guys getting it done in the middle!!!! Scott and Blackstock, what a great job these guys did against a huge ACC O line. That’s the kind of players we have and need on our team. Guys who might not have the “mesurables”, but they sure have the heart and the fight.

Blackstock played fantastic on Saturday, considering everything. He has a motor and doesn't quit.
Give 'em hell!

I agree Blackstock and Spurlin played hard and both did a great job! Hope EJ is back to full speed. He is a beast.
