I'm not sure what that's worth. UNC is a lot closer to UNCC than they are to CU.

As I understand it, the rule of thumb is that home field is worth 3 points. The opening line kind of indicates that the boys in the desert think App and UNC are pretty equal. Be interesting to see how much that line moves over the next few days.

Probably still play it just because I’d kick myself for missing out on it but gotta say Vegas has more faith in us than i do at this moment.

I'd be willing to bet that 3.5 gets bet up significantly by UNC fans. I don't gamble but if I did, hard pass right now.

I think that was the precise reason to set it so low. I see early money bumping it up, which increases the value of picking App.

Sure, but we can score and you have to figure that UNC is going to play 4 quarters of offense at some point.

Hopefully, they wait until Clemson to start playing all 4 quarters.

Too many unknowns from both teams. UNC looked like trash against Wake, while our last game wasn't what was expected. Not sure how the extra week of preparations will go. O/U and spread are too risky for me to play. I did say before the season started I would throw down on the money line, because I think App can win.

This early in the season no one is quite sure how this will go. The two power rankings that I watch are split with Sagarin showing a UNC win by approximately 8 points while the Massey Ratings predict that App has a 64% chance to win 31 to 26. Sagarin has App ranked at 62 and UNC at 39 and Massey has App ranked at 43 and UNC at 59.

Personally, I think we are very close to Wake regarding talent. This game has the makings of a barn burner unless one or the others defense steps up.

The ceiling is the roof.

The rule of thumb is to bet the underdog if you can make the case that they will win outright. I would wait until Thursday though and let the public bet it up to 5.5 or 6. Money lines are are too risky for my blood.
