I'll be 50 on Wednesday. I am likely going to have a tear or two in my eye tomorrow. I hope everyone is OK with that.

Still gives me a sick feeling in my stomach thinking of the unwarranted disrespect coach might have seen if he was some nerd on a message board.

Im 65 and remember the 75 team that beat Weak Forest, Easy Carolina and the Sand Chickens. Met Jerry the first time at the MT SU playoff game in Murfreesboro. Had him to speak to my racing athletes. Love that man!

A couple of us caddied for him at the PGA St Jude’s Classic pro-am in Memphis years ago. He loved it. We loved it. Crowd loved it.

I was at all three of those games and the '75 team featured a couple guys from the town I live in.
Met Jerry at Lake Lynn Lodge near Concord, the first month he came to Boone. Was not impressed at the time other than his personality. But, it didn't take long to be super impressed.
