Attendence??

Sorry if this is someone else's annual topic, but I'm wondering what we are thinking attendence wise for the ETSU game. Looks like perfect weather, very winable game, local opponent, great team returning, etc. Anything under 25k would seem to be a huge disappointment to me. What does everyone think?

Construction + two consecutive home games hurts. I think the walk-up crowd will be fantastic given the forecast. 10k students.
I'm thinking 27k and change.

Also doesn't hurt that it's Drink's first game. I wouldn't be too surprised to see some ETSU fans make the trip either.

with construction, and a weak opponent and a home game 2 or the next 3 weeks, I would be surprised to get to 25K. Hope I"m wrong, but i'm not sure. Maybe the excitement of a new season and new coach helps some, but my guess is 22-23 is more likely

I did this thread many moons ago, but stopped when I moved into a job that frowns on taking over an hour to do research on something that’s totally not job-related. Whomever wants to do this, knock yourself out.

Yeah I'm guessing 22500 and Charlotte should be bigger unless the hurricane weather effects it.
Wonder how many ETSU will bring?

There will be a lot of students there and they will be drunk and loud, but having 10K(over half our enrollment) is a bit of an exaggeration.

Yep, but current students don't know for the most part who he is. And yes, it is Jerry Moore Day.

It's the first game of the damn season. I will be disappointed with anything less than 25k. The construction and back to back home game excuses are lame.

Yep! But looking at the ticket purchase seating chart, 25K looks iffy.
