No major changes to the forecast. Partly cloudy sky later, perhaps. Still rain free.

After a long hot Summer of suffering from out lack of App State Football, the time is finally here! AMEN!
Let's get this season rolling and see how the team and new staff function. Cleats, meet turf, all the talk is done, it's action time!

Weather for the season / home opener is looking APPSTANDING!
Clear to mostly clear skies with kickoff temps in the mid 70s. East siders, prepare for a hot one. You'll need to stay well hydrated and seek a shady spot if the sun get's a bit too hot for you.
8AM: Sunny - Low 60s
NOON: Sunny - Low 70s
KICKOFF: Sunny - Mid 70s+
HALFTIME: Sunny - MId 70s+
END OF GAME: Sunny - Mid 70s

Yep, going up for the whole long weekend, great weather. Tubing on the New Sunday could be a little chilly for my kids/wife though, they'll need to suck it up.

That's not too far away. Latest models look like you will be spared this time around. Most show it staying off the coast, I would probably still get some 75+ mph winds but nothing like it was looking like the last few days.

We only had 2-3 squall lines move through. Way less than our nomral daily T-storms. It did suck some of the humidity out of the air and the temp was upper 80's vs mid 90's. It felt like mid October for a day and a half. How did ya'll fare over there?

It was nothing to write home about on the coast. The worst came in the middle of the night and it wasn't even enough to wake me up. Much like you said, our normal daily thunderstorms seem to pack way more of a punch than what Dorian delivered us. Just lucky and glad it stayed far enough off shore for no problems.
