We play ourselves 8/31 and have a 56% chance of winning...I think we can do it! #BeatAppState ;)

A 61% chance to beat NoCar is a bit high.

Correct! It's not just NoCar that we'll have to beat but also the ACC striped shirts. We can do it but it won't be the cakewalk some in our midst have been predicting. Mack won't take kindly to losing to his once-upon-a-time employer. Here's hoping he'll be powerless to prevent it.

Don’t we get to bring Sunbelt refs as the away team?

I dunno. Good question. Not certain about the current agreement and what sports it applies to.

The first two games, 2019 in Chapel Hill 2022 in Boone, are more of a home and home. Visiting team selects the refs in both games. The 2023 game in Chapel Hill is more of a buy game and the Heels will select the refs.

EDIT: The replay officials are selected by the home team in all three games.

Source: I have the contract.

FYI, SCar selects the officials for all three games versus App.

Another off topic but just curious. Since Drink is also the offensive coordinator what does that do for the money pool for coaches? Is he helping out, so to speak, with the money available for assistant coaches?

We have still hired our max of 10 assistant coaches, so it's just a matter of how those assignments are made. I'm sure it changes the distribution and allows us to pay the position coaches more, which is probably why he is doing it (or part of the reason at least).
