In seeing Cam Peeples tote the rock last night, all I can say is "WOW". Really looking forward to seeing him get some more opportunities over the next 4 years. I guess we will be working up a number 6 on lots of folks next season!

That end zone shot of Peoples rumbling up the sideline was sweet and was a dose of things to come.

His build is similar to that of Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley. He likely only landed at App because he would've taken 2 or 3 years to develop physically to play at a large P5 program. If he takes his weight training seriously, he could get up to around 215 to 225 lbs and be that back that every App fan has been waiting to see, a legit every down NFL style running back.
I'm not sure if he got specialized attention during bowl practices but I hadn't seen him run previously the way he ran against MTSU. He seemed to have better vision, anticipation of the hole, anticipation of would be tacklers, and the knowledge of when to turn on the jets. Between Williams Jr (scatback role), Peoples (3 Down back), and Evans (swiss army knife) in this new offensive style, App should be able to deploy the three of them at any one time and be able to accomplish their goal. Will help tremendously when game planning to take advantage of opponent weaknesses rather than game planning to just "do what we do".
