We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: New Orleans Hotels
I just want to focus on Championship Saturday. I’ll find a hotel after Saturday. Both cities have plenty of good ones near downtown or by the stadiums. Maybe we stay at the team hotel if space is available.

Re: New Orleans Hotels
Obviously we have a game to win Saturday, but I did check out the NO bowl website. Under hotels they have it broken down by conference. The Marriott New Orleans is listed as the sun belt hotel.

The group I'm going with is too.but I'm driving and couldn't bring myself to pay $100+ in parking. Place I got in the heart of the Quarter is one of the few with parking included. I'm close to everything and a short Uber to the stadium

Re: New Orleans Hotels
We are flying in Friday morning from Asheville and staying at the Marriott courtyard French quarter 4 blocks from Superdome. Flying out Sunday afternoon.
Re: New Orleans Hotels
We are staying at Holiday Inn Express Downtown, only a couple blocks from the Superdome.

We booked at the Hyatt Regency. Got a good rate. Some of the room pictures on their site even has the Super Dome in view right outside the window.

Anyone looking for a deal, don't forget Air BnB. Just found an amazing place, garden district, near everything for under 100 a night.

Re: New Orleans Hotels
Yeah. That's what I checked first. I saw a few there in the Garden district too. What threw me off was distance to French Quarter (which is where I expect to spend free time exploring) and the crazy additional $100 cleaning fees for two nights. It would've been nice to have my own spot, but....

When you headed down? I'm planning on making this one too - let's grab a beer or four.
