Endzone For Saturday

Just wondering if we will have to replace one endzone with ULL logo? Doesn't matter either way to me personally but I think I've seen that done in the past. Anyone know??

Geez. I hope not. I doubt Sun Belt has the $$$ for that sort of thing.
I suspect that all of the video stuff will be conference produced and they'll be lots of conference displays in banners all through parts of the stadium but I can't imagine that they'll go to the expense to change out part of the turf.
I don't think you would be able to paint over it with something that would then go away.

I always thought thats how lower level bowls should be played. Neutral sites 1000 miles from both campuses have no atmosphere. Let the sponsors come in and banner up however they want but play it on the campus of the higher ranked team.

Everything has to be neutral. If we have an end zone, they have one. If we have fireworks after TD, they have fireworks after TD*. App branding must be covered. Midfield logo must be removed.

That will be interesting.

Thought all the logos/endzones aren't paint and actually a part of the turf? Not sure on the logistics on all that.

Your exactly right and that's why I asked. It would be an enormous undertaking. It can be done. Look at the NCAA hoops tournament. They lay brand new floors in every venue they use. Be interesting to see what happens.

I thought that the purpose of having the home field advantage for the Conference Championship was to add an extra incentive during the regular season?

We should at least get the money for new turf out of this......otherwise play on a neutral site!

Hell yeah, this team earned home field advantage. We have had to make a neutral game before and cut out things like the 3rd down bell and probably now the train whistle...but I don't think we can change the turf on our field or end zone. That is to costly and who would fund that?
We
WILL have home field advantage and anyone near section #111 that does not like noise better bring them some hearing protection for this one.

Yeah me too. But according to my friend who was in the planning meeting last week, the intent is that the location should be the only advantage. Everything else related to game day is supposed to be neutral.

Man it is gonna take a big ass crane to remove that BFR or place another one there for them to make it neutral.

So I guess their band is coming? Nothing wrong with it, just wondering what KBS is going to look like now.

For playoffs we used to ring the third down bell for both sides to make it neutral, do the whistle for both, just turn the volume down for theirs.

Considering the logistics of all of this, I do not see it happening. I expect extra "Sunbelt" signage and perhaps some additional ULL support, but otherwise it will be an "App home game". They would've done it at a neutral site if it was meant to be neutral....right?
It doesnt matter.... the Rock is like a cold and loud "witch" this time of year, you can put a Sunbelt mask on her, but she is still going to be a cold and loud "witch"!

Pretty positive this is false. Know for a fact UCF kept their field the same as a usual home game for the 2017 AAC championship. Seeing as all those schools have far bigger budgets than SBC school, i highly doubt the SBC would require a school with a turf field to buy new turf for one game. Also remember the field solely being painted for ECU when they hosted the CUSA CCG game a few years back.

C-USA did have a North Texas endzone last year, but Florida Atlantic's final regular season game was at UNCC, and before their final game started, they knew they would host North Texas. They had a little more time to prepare. Literally the only example I could find though.
