Who is your standout surprise player for tomorrow?

I'm going with Malik Williams, much like Evans last year he has shown flashes. Tomorrow he makes a big play to change momentum.

Not sure we'll see one, but if so I'll take Virgil.

Many would say I.Lewis is not a surprise player......but I like Ike to shine!

I agree with Pipes. I think Ike is in for a big game. But my surprise player for the game will be Collin Reed.

Reed and Harrington with TDs
Hayes with INT
Fuller with Sack and Fumble recovery

I was hoping this thread was going to read that Terrence Upshaw had a miraculous recovery from surgery and was going to sneak back into the line up one more time!

If we pick a surprise player in advance, then he ceases to be a surprise player.

Not a surprise per se, but Taylor Lamb. Last game of football and he knows it. TD's on the ground and in the air. Stellar QB rating. I hope the defense get us some extra possessions.

Henni lost the surprise factor a long time ago....heck he just scored again against UL.

I think it will be a defensive player but I feel like even that's the case the offensive player would be more easily noticed...so I'll go with Zy Letman as he has the size to make some plays in the air (Redzone target).

I'm with Gonzo. I expect Lamb will run wild with it being his last game and the reigns completely off. I also expect Henni (glad I'm not the only one that calls him that) will have a big game!

Ditto! I read it the same way and had a vision of a Tee Sims sack for an 18 yard loss on a desperation Toledo 4th down.

Lamb would be my pick for the “Who is the least surprising standout player possible?” thread.

Like to see another "Break- through" performance from Virgil. GO APPS!!!
