Interesting article in today's Charleston paper how Coastal emulates our program.

I think they took some attendance liberties. No way this is true: "Coastal Carolina is a very respectable third in the Sun Belt in home attendance, a 14,754 average for three games on its teal turf."

I don't doubt the number as much as I doubt they have more fans than Troy and Arkansas State. Maybe they're 4th? I don't know.

The stadium now holds 15k. It might be ready for 20k next year.

Coastal completed phase 1 of an expansion this past summer, and will finish phase 2 this summer to get capacity to ~21,000 for next season.

And that's good cause they will break an attendance record when we come down

They saw what a home game stadium, crowd and atmosphere should be like this past Saturday. Next year we'll school them in how to support your team on the road when App Nation rolls into town for a little beach blanket bingo...

According to that chart, Coastal is 9th in home attendance in the conference. Not even close to third. We are currently second behind Troy.
