BPG postgame

Unread post by Saint3333 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 7:53 am

Thanks guys for the postgame, healthy for all App fans to listen to to bring perspective.

Clarified the propping up of CCU position and where they fell on the subject from DJ. I agree we aren't the same team as last year in fact I'd go a step further that we aren't the same team as we were a month ago vs Wake with all the injuries. CCU picked on the middle of the field especially the first half with Stringer and Franklin out.

Guys don't get down on an entire fanbase because half a dozen fans on here say we're a bad team. They know they're wrong and will disappear if we get healthy.

We aren't playing the way anyone expected us to thus far in conference, but as you say winners win.

UMass is another team that isn't good, but we'll be favored by two TDs and hopefully get a couple players back to do so.

I think we’ll probably be favored by 17-20, and it will still be too much. Vegas doesn’t have us figured out this year.

I certainly don’t have us figured out either.

I didn’t notice Franklin being out. Who played safety?

Franklin was and he wasn't doing too well, so then Exford came in.

Wasn't Thomas out too?

Thomas was definitely out. Franklin is effective against the run but is not great in coverage. Our LBs were crashing in on the play fake and CCU was running routes into the open zone. Can't blame all of this on our Safeties.

Vegas with the case of over correction here, favoring us by just 3.5 points.
