What about Greer? He came off the field in obvious pain. Thought it might be his shoulder, but they wrapped his hand. Don’t think he went back in the game.

Lots more playing injured or out completely, on both sides of the ball. And Rs Fr Cole Garrison saw his first real time today because of TE-C's condition and Greer going out. We're digging deep into the RS Fr ranks on both sides of the ball and burning more shirts that I had hoped we would but not much choice in the matter right now.

Given our history, red shirts are a luxury we can’t afford. Between injuries and eligibility issues, a lot of these freshmen are going to have to play.

And Adams. Really thought him, Meadors, and Evans would have been our best WRs going into the season. Now not sure if any will see the field at all.

While the situation isn't ideal, at lease are winning, for now, and getting guys some valuable game experience.

One bright spot in my opinion, is that when the Moore got hurt and Marcus Williams came in, he ran hard.

We are also missing Josh Thomas FS number 7. Missing Stringer and Thomas hurt us today in the middle and the back end. Still had we made our fgs, we would have won by two scores.

Great point about Stringers play in defending passes on the hashes, they were picking on the middle all night. What's his injury? Getting him back soon I hope.

When do coaches have to decide if they redshirt Evans and Adams since they haven’t seen they field?

They can pull them at anytime. I don't think that there is a protocol.

Spoke briefly with Stringer after the game. He said he'd be back next week. Not sure what his injury is.

If the players come in and play half a season of valuable time, there's nothing wrong in burning a redshirt. Experienced players are probably just as valuable as a redshirt with eligibility remaining. "Next Man Up" seems to be our battle cry this year!

Williams went from not seeing the field, to being the man at RB in the span of three quarters. Once he knocked the rust off, he ran hard and made some nice plays to get the extra yard and pick up key first downs.

Answers to a couple different questions:

- Yes, Stout played yesterday.

- Adams already redshirted a year, so that's not an option for him this year.

On Adams, his only option is to sit and take a medical RS.

Has anyone seen Adams on the sideline? He doesn't get mentioned much on the missing people.

The team would have to petition for a medical hardship to get a 6th year. That's if he wanted to do that. He'll be a Jr next year
