Today I Give My ALL Award

Unread post by AppinVA » Sat Oct 07, 2017 6:10 pm

What say you?

Clifton Duck

Tae Hayes

Eric Boggs

Jalen Moore

I'm going with Duck, but only because he was "heads" and Tae was "tails", and heads won 2 of 3.

Oh, Ike Lewis's returns should have led to some scores, but he Gave His ALL, as well.

All good options. I would have to go with co winners. I mean two guys getting the hat trick in the same game is pretty incredible.

I'd split it between Duck and Hayes. They saved the team on more than one occasion.

Boggs running down the speedster on 4th down is my play of the game, that was a game changer.

I give it to Lamb for that long TD run which kept us in the game when it looked like we were wearing down on both sides of the ball.

The students who stayed were great! I thanked several of them for their part in the win after the game. :D

The 1967 ASTC (last one) class for being there! I hope they recognize each 50th reunion class going forward at each homecoming.

Interesting stat for Jalin Moore:

Jalin Moore is currently the only active FBS back with three games of at least 240 rushing yards, as he gained 244 at Idaho in 2015 and a career-high 257 at Akron last season. Entering Saturday, Tulsa's D'Angelo Brewer, LSU's Derris Guice and Stanford's Bryce Love had two games with at least 240 yards

We (the crowd) should get honorable mention..for the last 6 minutes or so.
The loudest the stadium was with half the actual "fans" still left standing!!!! People leaving when it was tied...wtf? Sure...some folks had obligations...so no I'll intent meant but jimminy Christmas...tied? Some leaving had more partying on their mind than a good ending to a weird game of sloppy/great play.

Yep... Game saver for sure!

I am still amazed at why people who take the time to come to a college football game, walk out with the score tied. Someone help me understand these people!

Sat. I walked into KB and shook Jerry Moore hand. Then seeing NMSU fans; I walked to them and welcomed to "THE ROCK". After the BS on-side kick call I was proud of the response of App Nation not to Quit. Not Me; but ALL the 12th player gets my acolytes. Go NEERS.

Also have to recognize Hennigan for ALL his contributions including fighting for that catch that saved us in a 3rd and long situation. That catch kept a crucial drive alive and led to a tying score

I spoke briefly with Coach Moore also, it was awesome. Thanks for greeting the NMSU fans, I didn't notice any when I was entering but it reminds me of last year's Miami game. I was speaking to several Miami fans at the end of the game who loved coming to The Rock. They travel around to a lot of away games and said they had never been treated as well before and even thanked by some App fans for coming. They actually said they were going to start following our team and pull for us (not when we play Miami of course) based on their experience in Boone.
