NFL Rookie RB gives props

Unread post by moonshine » Wed Sep 27, 2017 1:19 pm

Former NC A&T Aggie and current Chicago Bears (backup) RB, Tarik Cohen, says the best stadium environment he's ever been in was at App State his freshman year.

Fast forward ahead to the :40 mark.

Thanks for the call out Tarik. You had a great game against the Falcons in week one. Good luck going forward.

That's awesome, glad he didn't mention that they beat us that day. Also, I've seen some comments on Wake Forest articles on Facebook where some of the comments are talking about wanting a more electric atmosphere and wish their students would follow the App students' lead and come to the game and stay longer. Feels like they got a taste of what a great atmosphere we have and they want it at Groves...or whatever they're calling their stadium these days.

This past Saturday, potential recruits had to be impressed with the tailgating, excitement, weather, scenic beauty, great student support, 35K crowd, etc... I've been to a lot of stadiums that had 70K+ that weren't nearly as electric as KBS was. Let's keep up the support and good things will continue to happen.
I thought nothing good came from that A&T game. Thanks to Tarik, maybe something did.
