JM said Jamal will not be 100% until he has surgery on the knee. He's just as good as he's going to get at this point, he can run, but not 15+ times a game.

What would be the purpose of releasing the information? I don't even think they should talk about it now. The only ones that need to know any information on injured players are the trainers and coaches.

I didn't know Jamal's injury was a secret. I've known for weeks that he had a knee injury that wouldn't be 100% until after offseason surgery.

Was the first I'd heard of needing surgery as well. I was hoping he would be back to 100% after the off time.

He will need mobility against this DL and this has my doubts rising for a win now.

Coach Brock Spack's teleconference started out on a good note.

"It's a great honor to play a program like APPY STATE..."

Guys, just about anytime a player continues to play after a knee injury these days it requires surgery to repair completely, even if it's just scoping it to clean out the junk. It's been pretty obvious for several games that Jackson has been playing hurt. It means absolutely nothing that we have not heard more about his injury. We are not entitled to any more information regarding players than we get.

I hope JJ can go but if not I say bring in a mobile and capable backup in Hallock that these playoff teams have not had an opportunity to scout, let him lead us through the playoffs to the Championship game and if he has trouble in the that game bring JJ in in the 2nd half to pull us through. Wait a minute, I think we've seen that before. And before anyone says how far fetched that is(I know it is, by the way), did many of us expect to do what we did the year a hobbled Richie Williams took the field to lead us to NC#1?
WE ARE YOSEF!

Read a piece recently about how Bill Snyder kept talking about Collin Klien's "undislosed injury". He said he wasn't about to be specific about the injury and the severity of the injury so other teams wouldn't go after his injury. He said it wasn't his responsibility to disclose the injury (unlike the NFL)

listening to the ISU coach, he seemed alittle frustrated talking about trying to simulate Apps speed, and specifically Prices size and athletic ability in his practices. Hopefully, his frustrations will continue this weekend.
