I must be doing something wrong when I sell my tickets, but looks like I need to try to sell more if I can get those kind of prices.

Season tickets are clearly a great investment. The more of those we sell, the quicker we can supply more seats to meet this historic demand.

Probably a result of the Wake / Miami games selling out quickly and bringing so much on the secondary market but none of the other games are sold out so there aren't many of those tickets selling on the secondary market. So think of that $150 average price as what P5 tickets are bringing.

When they limit the supply of season tickets below demand, they can't sell more.

The Coastal game was approaching a sellout (for seats not the bank) last time I checked. I believe there were only around 400 non-handicap seats left.

I wonder if we are still doing as we did a few years back, where sections would look sold out for weeks and then all of a sudden seats, sometimes practically whole sections, would open up week of, and not just seats in the visitors allotment that might have been returned. For some reason that always annoyed me, though I'm not really sure why. I remember us getting all excited about approaching a sellout, insofar as some would count how many seats remain, and then all of a sudden on a Wednesday the # would jump from "only 226 seats left", to 874. It was like the old one step forward, two steps back thing. I haven't paid close enough attention to the online ticketing system over the last couple/three seasons to notice whether this was still a thing or not.

These prices just don't look right to me for averages. I wonder if these numbers are based on listing price rather than transaction prices. There can be quite a large difference.

And that is family weekend, with a freshman class that was a couple hundred more enrolled than "normal"

Same question for me....I could ask for $100,000 for my Wake ticket. Doesn't mean I would get it but, it might affect the average.

Yeah, I find this hard to believe. I'll be happy if I can sell the tickets to the 2-3 games I can't make at all, let alone for these prices. Last year I sold a single game...at a heavy discount. I miss half-season packages :/

The only demand that's exceeding supply is for Wake tickets.

Season tickets were available right up until the Wake game sold out on the public on-sale date. I decided late to buy season tickets this year (after the YC single-game sale) and had no trouble getting them, in a fairly good location.

Plus App announced a discount sale for our home opener just days after the public on-sale date. I know it's a cupcake. But it's our home opener. And it's still nowhere near sold out. Thousands of seats also remain for Homecoming and our national TV game vs. our one and only true rival.

Good news about the Coastal sales, though. We did apparently offer discount Family Weekend pricing for that one as well.

Yep, always a big seller. I'm sure Coastal will bring a decent crowd up as well.

Many years ago and under different circumstances but how did CCU do bringing a crowd when we hosted them before?

I am far from a grammarian but is there not a lot of typos/mistakes in this article or am I reading things that are not there?

CCU has always brought a good crowd, even all the back to their first two trips in the mid 2000's, certainly as many as GS.

I was at one of these games and was thinking they had a good crowd, but did not remember specifics either.

Does Savannah State travel well? Say compared to Wake or Miami how do they compare?

Savannah State's crowd will consist of parents.
