When they limit the supply of season tickets below demand, they can't sell more.Gonzo wrote:Season tickets are clearly a great investment. The more of those we sell, the quicker we can supply more seats to meet this historic demand.
The Coastal game was approaching a sellout (for seats not the bank) last time I checked. I believe there were only around 400 non-handicap seats left.appvette wrote:Probably a result of the Wake / Miami games selling out quickly and bringing so much on the secondary market but none of the other games are sold out so there aren't many of those tickets selling on the secondary market. So think of that $150 average price as what P5 tickets are bringing.
I wonder if we are still doing as we did a few years back, where sections would look sold out for weeks and then all of a sudden seats, sometimes practically whole sections, would open up week of, and not just seats in the visitors allotment that might have been returned. For some reason that always annoyed me, though I'm not really sure why. I remember us getting all excited about approaching a sellout, insofar as some would count how many seats remain, and then all of a sudden on a Wednesday the # would jump from "only 226 seats left", to 874. It was like the old one step forward, two steps back thing. I haven't paid close enough attention to the online ticketing system over the last couple/three seasons to notice whether this was still a thing or not.JTApps1 wrote:The Coastal game was approaching a sellout (for seats not the bank) last time I checked. And that is family weekend, with a freshman class that was a couple hundred more enrolled than "normal"JTApps1 wrote:The Coastal game was approaching a sellout (for seats not the bank) last time I checked. Same question for me....I could ask for $100,000 for my Wake ticket. Doesn't mean I would get it but, it might affect the average.Yosef84 wrote:These prices just don't look right to me for averages. I wonder if these numbers are based on listing price rather than transaction prices. There can be quite a large difference.

I was at one of these games and was thinking they had a good crowd, but did not remember specifics either.Saint3333 wrote:CCU has always brought a good crowd, even all the back to their first two trips in the mid 2000's, certainly as many as GS.
at best.appfanz wrote:Savannah State's crowd will consist of parents.
