APP STATE / ULM WX TRENDS

Unread post by WXAPP » Tue Nov 15, 2016 6:38 pm

Last home game of the season this Saturday. Despite the loss this past week to Troy (our new GASo... ) turn out and support these young men as they work to finish the last home stand on a positive note!

A cold front will be moving across the High Country early Saturday morning. So, I'll carry a chance for a morning shower or two, but, as of this Tue eve post, I'd expect that rain chance to be gone by kickoff. Chilly it will be, but not obnoxiously so. ULM men might beg to differ by the end of the game. Winds will be ramping up through the game however. Dress in layers.

6 AM: Partly to mostly cloudy. Chance for a shower. Lower 40s.

10 AM: Partly to mostly cloudy. Chance for a shower. Mid to upper 40s.

NOON: Partly sunny. Departing chance for a shower. Low 50s.

KICK OFF: Partly cloudy. Winds picking up.Lower 50s.

HALFTIME: Partly cloudy. Breezy. Lower to mid 50s.

END OF GAME: Partly cloudy. Blustery. Mid to upper 40s.

I'll update later in the week.

Damn PROUD TO BE A MOUNTAINEER!

Seeing a few mentions of snow showers/flurries around gametime. Any merit to that you think Wxapp?

I'd give it limited merit. Nothing that strikes me as a worry. I will be adjusting temps down through the game. Looks like Boone zone will top out late AM with temps and then they will probably tumble. Might be snow shower Saturday Night. For this game, bring the warmth!

Everything I'm seeing lately is cooler. Guess we'll see.

What does it mean when a certain ASU professor/entrepreneur insinuates that something somewhat akin to an afternoon blustery crusting can't be ruled out?
