Gas price hike likely coming
As most of you know, there was an explosion yesterday at the gasoline pipeline in Alabama . Those of us on the East coast will likely be paying more AND experiencing temporary shortages. I encourage all App fans going to game Saturday to have their tanks full just in case.

Price gouging is ILLEGAL. Make sure to report.

More concerning is that you may not be able to get gas at any price. The last time this happened I was for the Miami game and I was traveling back to ATL and had a hard time finding any gas. I would have paid the extra but there was none to exist.
Fortunately I had enough to get back to Greenville where I found some.

This could be fun. I've got a meeting in Boone on Friday then the game on Saturday. Normally, that would be two easy round trips. My Jeep doesn't do too well on empty though ... alas ... the first world problems we have!

Who's running that pipeline down there, Curly Moe and Larry?!?
I'm pretty concerned since I'll be coming up from Atlanta (and back) this weekend. I never really had any problems getting gas last time, but it could have been a real problem if I couldn't find any on the way home. I'm ok with paying a higher price until this gets fixed but getting stuck somewhere in SC with no gas to get home would no be a good situation.

Last time you could get gas, but you were probably going to have to go a little further from the interstate and also get premium instead of regular. At least something was available though.
