Shout out to our defense. Their play is very entertaining and exciting to me. One offensive touchdown in 4 funbelt games, right? I wanted to know if any of you "nerds" could provide us with some numbers showing how our D is realistically performing. Does the conference competition make the defense look amazing? Or does the defense playing lights out make the defense look amazing? As a fan who is willing to admit he doesn't know formations, what is our defense classified as? I love the idea of comparing them to a swarm of angry stinging insects. Also, I'll have a duck call at the Texas State game. I'm aware of the 2 outliers in Akron and Unk's beloved Miami team, but can we as fan at least admit our defense is magical? Proud to be a mountaineer!

..and Dale Jones's linebackers are the best unit in the conference.
