2 Touchdowns today. 2 receptions for 70 yards
Same announcers that did the Michigan game. I wonder if they remember talking about Quick after the drop when Lonnie Galloway was coaching him up on the sidelines?firemoose wrote:This thread should really be in the Pros section but here are the catches anyway.
Not bad for a player (BQ) who once was quoted as saying he wasn't coached at Appalachian. It's glad to see he is making his presence known on the field in the NFL in a big way.AppinATL wrote:Boy its good to see Quick finally playing to his potential and Armanti starting to make his presence known in the CFL. Those guys have worked hard, persevered through injuries and deserve some spotlight on them now.
That quote has been taken far out of context. He was talking specifically about being coached on the full route tree while in college. A lot of College football teams don't teach receivers a full route tree depending on the type of offense they play in.JCline0429 wrote:Not bad for a player (BQ) who once was quoted as saying he wasn't coached at Appalachian. I realize that, SL.. I was being facetious. As I inferred, I'm glad to see him healthy and doing well in the NFL.S.Lewis15 wrote:That quote has been taken far out of context.
