Yes we do. I can't access my pages to pull the info or move him but

ATH Joshua Thomas (6' 0" 190) of The Montgomery Academy in Montgomery, AL has committed to App this evening. If my pages ever show back up I will move him to the Commits section of the Main Page. He committed to App over offers from Ark St, Bucknell, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, And WKU. More to follow as soon as I can get to my pages.

What about this kid? Coaches recruit talent, not statistics, but he wouldn't be a bad guy to have a scholarship on for the future. I'm also super pumped about Papenheim committing, he's going to be special.

His story is quite depressing. Hope this kid finds a landing spot.

I suspect this weekend's OV list would provide a pretty strong clue on the second commit.

Great news on both. We are loading up on DBs this class, just hope everyone sticks around on signing day.

CB Tae Hayes of Decatur High School Decatur, AL
LB Edward Davis of Farmville Central High School in Farmville, NC

See if you can guess who the second AL commit is.

No worries man, just saw them there and chuckled a bit.

On a more serious note, another reason to like these commits is that the pipeline to Alabama is now officially open. I know that was a priority for Sloan and co. this year, so I'm glad they got a couple to jump on board.

Edward Davis is an interesting prospect. Decent size, runs in the 4.5s and played in the Shrine Bowl. Played for a small school, but racked up and eye-popping 238 tackles and 4 interceptions his senior year. Looks like he was recruited by John Wiley at ECU and many of their fans were hoping he would get an offer. John probably sent him our way as a potential last minute steal. We'll see.

Farmville, NC is the definition of small town USA. I grew up not far from Farmville and I have relatives from there. If Davis was snubbed by ECU and he comes to us I would bet Davis will have a big chip on his shoulder to prove he belongs.

you know I thought about copying and pasting the list to my desktop last week, because of MY internet issues so i could look it up quickly and check it off next week.

I was looking through the list of interest/offers etc....and where they had committed. I was gonna verify some stuff for my own interest!

Just wanted to update and say our intrepid admins are working on fixing the problem to get our pages back up. In the mean time, since you can't get to the pages I thought I would post links to new commit Tae Hayes and visitor Edward Davis' hudl packages so those who haven't looked at them can do so.

Still hard at work today and for the next 5. We should know something one Darnell Thompson Sunday night or Monday and should know in the same time frame on Kielan Whitner. And one more note for those who might have missed my post. Obe Fortune is not taking the visit to Illinois this weekend. We know the GS people are all over him on twitter but he's not retweeting their posts so the best thing to do is let them bother him to death. He knows how the App Family feels.

I'll be posting any updates and will update the pages when they come back online. Keeping Up the Grind!!!

Some good news. I was able to get to the 2015 Recruiting page and after 45 minutes I was able to update it with Thomas and Hayes now moved to the Commits section and save it. I haven't been able to link Davis' page to his place in the Considering section but it's progress. Yosef is working with the host to try and get things fixed and I was able to at least copy and save the text off the Main. It won't help me rebuild all the pages but it's a starting point should something happen. I believe everything is safe but they just have to get the site back up to 100% speed and the links should work again. In the mean time I'll keep posting in this thread. And it was posted on twitter that we've offered a 2016 RB so I'm researching the info now and will put a post in the 2016 thread in a few, just not on the 2016 Main yet.

The beat goes on.....

Ask and ye shall receive:

We have commit #21 for the class of 2015. DB Tae Hayes (5' 11" 170) of Decatur High School in Decatur, AL has offered his verbal commit to App State. The Rivals 2 star CB has committed to App over offers from Campbell and Central Arkansas. He will be taking his OV to App this coming weekend.

And one other thing. I wasn't able to update Thomas' and Hayes' player pages yet so should someone be able to get to them they will still show as offered and not commits. I'll do that as soon as I can.
