Fundraising is among the best in sun Belt... It's the lack of institutional and state funding that hurts us.

Plus a completely unbalanced budget when DG took over. It was on the verge of being fixed when covid hit and killed every bit of momentum.

We finally have scholarships fully funded. The added ESPN revenue isn't hurting either.

By moving up, VA law requires JMU to reduce its dependence on student fees. FCS schools in VA can charge higher student fees than FBS schools.
