Hill was packed, upper east sections with empty seats.

The hill had shade from the screen even before the game started. The west side of hill was packed tight even as the east side of the hill thinned. The east side stands would have been full had the hill be emptied but my god the sun was baking the east side until the game was over. I have had some good memories of the hill but do not love it or the view of the game. However I would take it over the melanoma risk of the east stands at this point in the season.

Today’s number was 25,147 (no zip code).

Seemed waaay more than that. Have seen us post that many when appeared half full. I had guessed about 28k prior to announcement. Don't know how they count but largest crowd to the eye in some time.

I'm somewhat of an attendance nerd, it's a big topic of discussion in MLS (my 2nd league of choice after NCAA football), I have been very aware of crowd fluctuations in my years as an app fan, and let me tell you...app does not count tickets. The biggest crowd I've ever seen pre-Miami was vs Chattanooga and we announced 27k. It was clearly bigger than a 30k elon crowd the same year. I have different theories, but I seldom ever believe our attendance numbers. Some are much larger than announced, some are smaller.
