I think I got linked through the ASU athletic site, but I'm not sure.
Thanks, and enjoy Coach Woody.

This is how it appears online:

Sorry for the intrusion.
Call them. I had to do the same thing. If you sign up for one month they never stop billing unles you stop them. I'll never do that again. I am at all the home football games so don't need them for that. I do pick up the feed for some away that I don't go to and have NEVER had the same problem.

This could be good news if it stays this way. Now lets hear from Lincoln Stewart also.

On the trail of another. Probably a walk on but not sure yet. This one is similar to @_SuckMyJays_ except I do have a uniform. Just no school name, team name, person name, city, or state. I'll figure it out eventually. As you can see there is nothing certain but since it's a mention we track it down. Just another mystery for now but the twitter exchange I caught is below.

Tyler Stamp‏@t_stamp3
@_LethalyGifted4 yessir, where you looking to go?

Civil Savage‏@_LethalyGifted4
@t_stamp3 probably app state

EDIT: Got him. He's LB Keion Adams (6'2" 230) from Salisbury High School. I've got his twitter page marked so I'll see if there is anything else. Again it's more than likely a walk on since I've not seen anything on him so far but I'll keep up and see if he says anything else.

LB Bill Cecil (6-0, 210) of T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville has accepted a preferred walk-on invitation to Appalachian State, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Per his twitter DT/DE Bentley Easley (6'1" 275) of Newson High School in Lithia, FL has been offered by App. I'll give you more as I find it (and make sure it's really him based on another wonderful twitter account $ir Turnt A Lot @_BigBent)

EDIT: He is saying that it's a preferred walk on but open to a full ride if someone decommits. I was pretty sure that's what it was. From what I've been told we are holding back 1 or 2 until the last minute because we are still working on a couple of things (ie still working RB and possibly another school commit who is on the fence). Gonna keep digging.

George Vinson has taken down his tweet I posted last night.

George Vinson‏@GVSIX
Boutta order my gear for signing day #AppState

If it's because he read it on here I just hope he comes back and I can tell him that the reason so many fans are following him is we truly want him to come play for App. There is a reason that there are nearly 42,000 views of this thread and climbing in the last 5 months (most in the last two). App State fans are among the most loyal fans you will find anywhere. We love our teams, our school, and all the people who choose to follow in the footsteps of those who have come before. Once you are a member of this family you are there for life. It's the reason why we lead the FCS in attendence, always putting more in than the stadium holds. It's why we are one of the leading candidates for FBS in the next conference moves. And it's a reason why people all over the country know the name Appalachian State. Not just the Michigan win or the 3 straight championships. We are afraid of no one and will play anyone anywhere. And it's because of players like him and the rest of our 2013 class that we can feel this way.

The reason we check his twitter page is because we are hoping to see that it's finally offical and he is becoming a Mountaineer. I, for one, hope to see him sign that LOI on Feb 6th, 2013.

Well...we just lost Stewart. I wish him the best. Just was hoping he would come here where we have a pipeline of LB's to the NFL. We'll see you this year and then you can have the SoCon.

Too bad for the guys not making it up here. Theyre going to miss out on winning both National Championships, and bowl games in the next 4 or 5 years. Not many players get both.

Some recruiting tidbits while we nervously wait out those last few days before National Signing Day.

Walkon invitee LB Bill Cecil (6-0, 210) of T.C. Roberson in Asheville is the son of William Cecil, owner of the Biltmore House.

WR Rodney Morris (6-3, 212) of Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Ga., committed to Alabama-Birmingham today. If you've seen his video, you know why that comes as a disappointment.

Hunter Nunn, twin brother of ASU commitment Beau Nunn (6-4, 260) of York Comprehensive High School in York, S.C., says in a tweet that he might not attend ASU after all. The coaching staff hoped to bring him in as an invited walkon.

Coach Cardwell posted this photo of him and coach Satterfield on a private charter flight this morning heading on a recruiting trip. Often private charters such as this one are paid for by well-to-do alums who have access to aircraft.

Private charter flights are very expensive and usually only the wealthiest of athletic programs can travel in this manner. We complain about fat-cat donors who wield too much influence within our athletic department but we sometimes overlook the benefits we gain from having these kind of supporters.

Looks like a rather small plane and Cardwell's posting only says private plane, not charter. Though I guess paying someone to fly in their plane is a charter. I'm sure it's not too cheap but it may not be terribly expensive either. I have a buddy who has a plane who I'm sure would love to fly folks around just to get the hours for a little help with fuel costs. He flies Angel Flight on his on dime so it's not an outa sight cost. Though I'm sure he writes some of that off on his taxes. Still nice to have the ability to fly on recruiting trips.

Our recruiting seems to have hit some bumps here in the last week. No doubt we have scored some success with this year's class but have lost out on some quality players over the last several days. It can be a humbling experience when some of our recruits pick our competitors over us.

Nothing wrong with getting humbled from time to time.

As per his twitter K/P Manning Burton (6'1" 170) of Shelby high School in Shelby, NC will be at App for his offical visit tomorrow. According to NCPreps he was the 2A All State kicker for this past year. The walk ons are coming.

Agree, complacency is part of what has helped us fall off the backside of the mountain a bit.

No reason why we couldn't have had more success on signing day considering the positives versus our peers.

So true, ask any winning or losing coach if recruiting wins any games. I wonder if Bobby Lamb could haves used Armanti Edwards?

Some of you guys crack me up. Nobody said anything about losing, aiming low or giving up, but having such an ego that if a kid we offer is stupid for going somewhere else that isn't a BCS conference school is idiotic. The previous staff began failing exactly because they developed a huge ego. They lost the hunger, ambition and humility that keeps you honest. Hard work and diligence not trash talking or braggadocio is what makes one successful.
