We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

We need better support/involvement from the locals in general so this could be an opportunity to help build that relationship. Set aside one of the larger sections of unsold seats and have a local discount of some sort until it is full. I hate to do too many discounts, but at some point some $$$ and butts in the seats is better than empty seats. We just need to make sure people don't come to expect it to be a regular thing going forward in the future.
That's a good idea. We need meat in the seats more than cash for the tickets. The noise will be there because the diehards and students wouldn't miss this for anything. We just need bodies to look better on TV, and that's a great point about using this as an opportunity to build a report with the locals.

App has been marketing this game very aggressively since the clock hit 0:00 in Monroe, if not before. I don't think discounts will be needed here, as I expect a massive student turnout to offset some of the unsold tickets. And to the point about not wanting to condition people to expect (and therefore wait on) discounts, we've done them for the last few games, so this is a good one to break that string.

side note, I was curious so I went over to the GS board, one, well meaning App fan, started a post welcoming GS fans, gave them helpful information, such as where to park etc. unfortunately, the GS guys took the opportunity to basically rip him, and anything associated with App and Boone. Guy made the mistake of trying to be helpful, and they acted like a bunch of jerks, there is no doubt in my mind the worst fan base in the SBC is GSU, I hope we beat the living hell out of them Thursday.

Looks like a little over 100 tickets were sold overnight...so here is hoping for a good day at the box office. I imagine today and tomorrow will be the biggies, with fingers crossed for a good walk-up with good weather Thursday afternoon.
