We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Why are people saying size is a detriment in our offense? A slow QB wouldn't be ideal. A big QB who can move could be tremendous (as they have been at many other schools).

There is no legitimate reason. Some people just like to dissent than discuss.

I mean, I’m sure when a thread called “QB next year” was started, all of our minds immediately went to Joe Burchette...

Joe Burchette to DaVon Fowlkes....what a connection. Throw in ol’ Sterling Hayward in there too.

It's also possible he is a backup for three years. Let's let this play out before we make him an NFL prospect.
There are quite a few moving parts in play. None of which implies that he is currently a NFL prospect. There are four guys that all have the opportunity to become the long term starter. The unfortunate side to this is that a couple of these guys might transfer out. It’s the nature of the beast.

Mine didnt either. I was trying to respond to the post suggesting we needed a great big qb.

While i agree that a 6’4”, 235 lbs QB who could move like Armanti would be a great addition to our spread option, i doubt you will find that person.

Who suggested that we need a great big QB? As suggested, the coaches will put the best player on the field.

Steph is 6’5” 220 lbs. and runs a 4.5 40. I don’t know what point you’re really trying to make. And we don’t run a spread option offense.
