Re: Taylor Lamb
So has Tanner Wilson committed to App? The guy seemed pretty confident that he had, anybody see anything official?

Re: Taylor Lamb
Firemoose replied in another thread that Tanner may be a PWO. A good friend from Rockingham County said that "Tanner is the best QB to ever play at Reidsville."

Re: Taylor Lamb
Deshaun Watson currently leads all D1 qb's with 30 wins. If my math is right, Taylor has 28. Not bad company considering Watson won't be back and TL may take the lead.

Re: Taylor Lamb
That # might only be 27 for Taylor. I believe that Kam started in the Campbell win.GoBoone wrote:Deshaun Watson currently leads all D1 qb's with 30 wins. If my math is right, Taylor has 28. Not bad company considering Watson won't be back and TL may take the lead.

Re: Taylor Lamb
Tanner Wilson. PWO commit. Coming in this spring. But with all the scholarship QB's we will have next year, providing for no attrition and with one possibly moving positions (Lamb, Caruso, Thomas, Huesman, Easter to WR {best bet to see the field}), QB Peyton Derrick coming in as our only scholarship QB for the 2017 class, and with Fitch and Spear still on the team, coming in as a PWO QB would not be a position where one would expect to ever see the field. He moves pretty good and is 6' 2" 225 so maybe see him move to WR. We'll just have to see.Rick83 wrote:I'm definitely impressed with TL, we're lucky to have him for another year. As for the future, I sat beside a guy at the game in Montgomery Saturday and he was from Reidsville originally and he said that the QB for the Reidsville team that just won the state title (not sure of the division) and I think they were undefeated for the season, has committed to App but I don't recall seeing anything. The guy said he's a great player. I think his name was Tanner?

Re: Taylor Lamb
Certainly a better chance to see the field as a WR. If he can block and hold onto the ball he'd have a shot to play at some point.

Re: Taylor Lamb
Feels good to know that we apparently have a bevy of talent fighting for the QB1 spot. Lamb strikes me as the kind of kid that would purposefully work with the younger QBs to help their development. Wonder if he's going to go into coaching like his dad...

Re: Taylor Lamb
I can see Taylor doing what Satt did, coming back to App in 20 yrs as head coach, after seasoning in other coaching jobs.

By then we'll be known as a power school and will be able to together a competive compensation package.appstate77 wrote:I can see Taylor doing what Satt did, coming back to App in 20 yrs as head coach, after seasoning in other coaching jobs.
