We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

We've got a bye week, plenty of time to rest up the troops, and get Rubino in front of the goal posts and get some more practice in before going off to take on a struggling UL Lafayette team and following that up with Idaho. Big picture is to get our ducks in a row between now and the GASO and Troy games because those are going to be the ones that we're really going to need everyone firing on all cylinders.
Hadn't looked at the schedule. Really sets up pretty good. Cox gets time to recover fully. Next 2 are breathers.
Not sure there are any breathers. Everyone thought GSU was going to be a pushover. This team hasn't demonstrated it can put together a complete game yet. Perhaps it's the ULL game when that happens but I'm not ready to assume anything at this point.
Didn't take pushovers. I'll stick with breathers. We will be rested and will pound the crap out of both of them

Didn't say pushovers. Oh and since I have zero impact I'll have some faith we put it together and pound both teams.

Just as a point of order, rubino is a red shirt freshman, not a true freshman.
Matics went most of the season only missing 1, but missed a 50 yarder late in the season, and of course missed 2 earlier in the Camelia bowl before kicking the game winner

Not sure why we say a game shouldn't be left up to the kicker. That is part of the game. Yes, ideally we score all tds,but for one reason or another, a field goal is often needed to win or send the game to Ot. Maybe we get the ball back with 30 seconds and no timeouts. You can't depend on the offense getting into the endzone, but getting to the 35-40 yard line is much more do-able. The reason there are kickers and field goals is to allow points to be put on the board. You need a kicker capable of that at all times.
The kicking game is just as important part of the game as receivers
