They're all bent out of shape about what T-Dog wrote yet this is part of an article posted on Tigernet which is where most of these nuts that found his article came from. Not as detailed as T-Dog but it is written in the same vein.

"The Mountaineers played Clemson tough the last time they were in Death Valley, but that was a different Clemson program (not very good) and App St. was in the FCS. Things are different these days. The Hillbillies- who apparently play in a cabin- have talent and an eight game win streak against the likes of Uncle Howard and Sister Sadie Dinkins Sunday School Class. Apparently, those lustrous wins mean they will give Clemson a tussle. Poor hill folk. They just don't get it, and Uncle Jeb and Granny will sadly ride their jalopy back to Daniel Boone without finding any oil. Clemson 42, APP ST. 17.

I guess we should all get our overalls in a bunch and start an internet revolution. Flood the writer's twitter and email accounts with pics of goats and toothless women. Then we can get their AD's and Chancellor's contact info and place ads on Craiglist. This would establish Mountaineer superiority over those pussy.................................cats. :ugeek:

Typical pre-game trash talk from both sides...no reason for anyone's bowels to be in an uproar

They're in for a surprise. Not just with the strength of our squad, but the fact that 8,000+ App fans are about to show up.

never been big on trash talking, especially to a team that's a big time favorite, but I got to admit, the write up has really touched a nerve with those guys, they are over on their board posting as fast as their little, fat, cow milking fingers will go, I think their starting to hate us more than SC!

One of them has now threatened to commit suicide if they don't win by two TDs.

At least they schedule us from time to time. I can think of several that won't. We would likely get just as lambasted by the ones that won't.

The truth of the matter is that Clemson has "under achieved", they have only won one ACC conference title in like a dozen years. They have been beaten badly in one bowl game against another Mountaineer Team 70-33, and by the likes of GT, Miami, FSU and others. The term "Clemsoning" was made for them. I thought thier fans were laid back, but to be upset over a blog is ridiculas. They accomplish nothing beating ASU. Thier real schedule starts against a good UL team on Thursday. So if Clemson gets up by a bunch of points and risk thier players to injuries. So be it. They live in misery down thier, they are constantly in the top 25 but have very little hardware. They are on the NCAA's radar for the death penalty if they get caught cheating again from things that happened years ago. Sometimes the truth is what it is.....Reality...And then Spurrier humiliates them every chance he gets...Either way hoping for a good game this Saturday for evry one.

Was just asked at a high school soccer game about the post... the group there was making a big deal over how poorly written it was. There is a big group of high school students all going; most Clemson fans. The jabs made in the article don't make us look bad, but the writing and the presentation look like a 4th grade writing assignment. This is making too much news. It is like the Hot, Hot, Hot Video.

Take that crap down, please.

Screw that. They can't be both big, bad Clemson and get all up in arms about a blog post written by a guy that half his own fan base dislikes. If they wanna be treated like a powerhouse, they better start acting like a powerhouse. For example, a Texas Tech fan just came out with a pretty hilarious movie trailer called "Textanic" about the fall of Texas football. They aren't even a powerhouse anymore, but their fans aren't crying three year old girls, they took it in stride. Because that's what your supposed to do if you really are that good.

You're worried about what high school soccer fans are saying about the article? What's your viewpoint? What do you feel is wrong with it, be specific.

It is badly written. It is a collection of incoherent paragraphs and is being portrayed by their side as the best we got. It is easy fodder for Yosefs Cabin and Mountaineers in general not being well educated and articulate.

And if you went on their board, you'd think they were all tools that never stepped foot on Clemson's campus. If they want to judge our education based on the post of one blogger/fan, then that's their problem.
Furthermore, why would care what Clemson message board fans think of us? Why do we need their approval on the quality of our education?

Okay, it is a football message board not a senior thesis. Sorry if you don't feel it is equivalent to the Hippie/Hillbilly jokes from Tigernet.

Just FYI, they did find my phone number through my LinkedIn profile and have been spamming it. On Thursday it was texting me "ap-puh-lay-shun" followed by calls to "Kill Yo'self". Today's method was sending me pics of muscular naked men. Very weird. I don't answer calls that aren't in my address book anyway, but especially not the several from 803, 843 and 864 numbers. The several hundred Twitter messages are quite something as well.

These aren't the Clemson fans you'll find in the donor lots. These are the unhinged minority, which some people think I am.

In the end, I'd rather they go after me then go after the players. I'm a grown man and can take it.

I mean that if Clemson trolls are going after me instead of going after App players because of something I wrote, then it's an good unintended byproduct.

My roast pieces aren't masterpieces and they're not journalism, nor do I claim them to be.

As for the question of what's the purpose of them, I say this. Those pieces are the exact same as saying "Georgia Southern sucks", "Kevin Ellison can't read" and other smack talk. They're meant for App fans to look at and get a laugh at the expense of the opponent and get them a little more pumped for the game. And I enjoy doing them as I read a lot of fascinating histories behind many schools.

My roast piece influences are a Michigan website that is no more that use to do the exact same type of post, TunnelWalkofShame.com, Cracked.com, AnyGivenSaturday.com smack talk section and a few others.

If you want more positive coverage, I've done that. And I just started the App State hub at UDD.

regardless what you think of T-Dog and his post, the Clemson fans have crossed the line, this is no longer just bs game talk between 2 fan bases, these guys are trying to find a way to really hurt T-Dog. I use to have respect for Clemson fans, losing much of that respect by the minute.

Not sure how a Clemson fan knows what is poorly written when comparing the article to what they read on the back of a cereal box
