It is moving the right way. It was 4 to open and has been bet down to 1. The money is on ASU. The money line is pretty much even now.
Yeah, I'm not a betting man, but my understanding is that when a line moves significantly, more often than not it turns out to be a good thing for the team in whose favor the line is moving. Movement of three points in a week, and a couple of points in just the last day or so, means a lot of money coming in on App.
It has been said that the wise guy money comes in late. I am not sure if this is still the case, but it believe it takes about 500k to move a line a half point . So for it to move so much in a short period of time there has been a lot of action. I used to be in the betting game but not anymore. From a betting standpoint I don't see value in App as a favorite.

I understand the money is on App now, but I don't feel good about that because as we all know Vegas wins.

Let me clarify my statement. I think App will win so giving up the points isn't a big deal for me but there are value picks on the board. I tend to look for underdogs that I can make a case for winning the game. Therefore I would have bet the line on Monday..I would not do it because I have two rules. 1) I never bet with emotion and I am emotionally attached and 2) I never bet against Alabama.

I never bet on or against my team in any sport, rule number 1 of betting.

The lines aren't out yet. I will post them when they come out.

I not a handicapper, just a recovering degenerative gambler but I think 8-10 sounds about right for a opening line.

I'll be shocked if it's less than mid double digits. I'd say 14-15.

Well 10 is double digits. Again not a handicapper but I don't think the line will be as high as you think. Remember that lines aren't set to predict an outcome but rather to get action from both sides. In the eyes of Vegas we and Ga are very much alike so the line shouldn't be too crazy. 11 is a major # in wagering so I doubt they cross it in the opening line. Food for thought on this game. We are the most balanced offensive team GS will have faced this year.
