yep...one is entertainment, the other is gambling. Gambling is a sin. Analyzing numbers is entertainment.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 9:14 amTo your point, I agree that you shouldn’t bet on teams that you don’t know about. Hence, the reason for investing short term on App, or SBC football. I mean, who is going to put money into something they know nothing about. For me, it’s a hobby thing. I figured out a long time ago that I got the biggest high from picking the right side, more than the money that I won. It’s a mental exercise for me to analyze the data and follow the statistical patterns more than anything. My gains and losses are very minimal. As such, I am the typical description of Vegas viewing me as easy money. With that said, I have no issue with someone betting on any App. St. sport. It is their money so to speak.

100 years ago I would maybe make bets once or twice - never won so I gave that up - However, one thing I learned for my own sanity was that I Never bet on a game I am attending - too worried about the spread instead of just enjoying the game

I get it. Same philosophy can be applied with fantasy football and your favorite team. I can do both bet and enjoy the game. I don’t have any control on either outcome.

Re: ESPN Bowl Projections
I saw one projection that had us playing The Turd again. Can't remember if it was a CBS source, FOX, ESPN or what? Anyway these columnist/ Opinion writers are numbnuts.
I can see myself answering questions.....feeling like Lum & Abner. Who did y'all play last week? ...Marshall. Who y'all got next week? .....Marshall. Who do y'all play OOC next year?.. Marshall. Do y'all play anyone besides Marshall? Yeah....but Marshall will be in conference next your or the next
