Nah, just trying to keep App a bit classy without completely being a stick in the mud. Don't want to be known as Crappalachian. Regardless, it is funny and interesting to discuss.

Sir, I am taking this matter just as seriously as it deserves. The plunger is offensive to Iggles, therefore I love it.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:57 pmHmmm. I do not believe any of us is taking this seriously like it would be a thing.

No on the trophy idea. I don’t want anything that has spent a year in statesboro retuning with our team to Boone. You think it’s been tough dealing with the COVID...can you imagine the contamination after a year in that god forsaken place

I am taking a “Barney” on this issue: Nip it in the bud. Surely you remember the incident with a former administrator and the bell at library. Some people can create things out of thin air.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:57 pmHmmm. I do not believe any of us is taking this seriously like it would be a thing.

Re: App plants plunger at GSU 50
Has anyone ventured over to the flight line to see how they’re taking the plunger? I imagine they’re absolutely livid (which does make it even funnier)

I’ve been peaking waiting for them to talk about it but they haven’t even spoken of it once that I can see.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:29 pmHas anyone ventured over to the flight line to see how they’re taking the plunger? True...A plunger is not needed in outdoor facilities....AppinVA wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:48 pmMaybe they don’t know what it is.yosef69 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:44 pmI’ve been peaking waiting for them to talk about it but they haven’t even spoken of it once that I can see.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:29 pmHas anyone ventured over to the flight line to see how they’re taking the plunger? LOL come on, man.ASUTodd wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:40 amNothing like stooping to GS level. You won the game in dramatic, come from behind fashion..... You embarrassed them at home. Take your win and go home with some dignity. Might be funny but totally classless. I'm curious if Coach Clark knew this was going to happen.

They’re low keying it because they know they brought it on themselves. They also know that their players trying to plant a flag into an artificial field wasn’t very bright.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:29 pmHas anyone ventured over to the flight line to see how they’re taking the plunger? I like this idea, except I would paint on side black and the other blue. Keeping with the Teacher/Paddle theme call it the Black & Blue Battle for the Paddle.appstate77 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:45 pmI like the idea of something like " Battle for the Paddle". Someone create a paddle that used to be used in schools. Paint one side Blue, the other side Gold. In honor of both schools having origins as places for teacher education, the winning schools gets the paddle for a year.
