They’re low keying it because they know they brought it on themselves. They also know that their players trying to plant a flag into an artificial field wasn’t very bright.

I like the idea of something like " Battle for the Paddle". Someone create a paddle that used to be used in schools. Paint one side Blue, the other side Gold. In honor of both schools having origins as places for teacher education, the winning schools gets the paddle for a year.

I like this idea, except I would paint on side black and the other blue. Keeping with the Teacher/Paddle theme call it the Black & Blue Battle for the Paddle.
