Much of it deals with the young alums and how we approach them and bring them into Yosef. There were a few points about how the tiers in IPTAY work that differ from what Yosef does. I believe the IPTAY model could help with broadening our donor base.

From a gameday perspective, I would say letting the kids on the field after the game to get autographs and gloves and just hang out with the players is one of the smartest things I've ever seen. What better way to build a lifelong fan than to teach them as a kid that they're important and have a place at our university? I know that creates a more work and a slightly longer day for the players. I also know that parents will hang around longer if their children really want to stay. Can you imagine how many of those kids are saying to themselves, "When I grow up, I'm going to play football for Clemson!"? That's some pretty cheap recruiting.

I, too, am a fan of leave and return and was glad to see that. I liked tailgating after the game as well. That was especially nice for a midday game and the amount of traffic involved.

Most of the ideas are still rattling around in my head and will be committed to additional scrutiny for efficacy and cost effectiveness once the last corporate tax return is finished in our office.
If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.
