On Time Warner it's channel 10, not sure about satellite.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
This is the kind of game, available only on Sinclair, that App should purchase a feed and sell us the viewing.

No, it's not on ESPN3's schedule: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index#type/upcoming/appmaj wrote:Still confused...this game will or will not be on ESPN3?
Not sure how I can see it at home or at a bar (Charlotte) if it is not on ESPN3?
Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think ESPN3 can show games that are airing on non-ESPN networks.

I'm pretty sure it will be on My48 which is on Channel 15 on TWC. They've had several non traditional games on TV the last couple of weeks, so I think that's the right channel.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
This is must be the same station that aired the UNC-C vs JCSU game last Saturday in Raleigh. I'll take any coverage we're able to get!

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
In Atanta, at this time we are screwed.
There is no Sinclair affliate station anywhere in north Georgia. Also, at this time it is NOT on ESPN3 because Sinclair owns rights. In addition, because Sinclair owns it USM cannot broadcast it on their internet site. I suppose it is possible that this game could be picked up by various providers where Sinclair doesn't provide coverage by negotiating some rights deal with Sinclair. However, I don't know if anybody (station/network) feels it is profitable to do it for any given region. I am hoping either ESPN cuts some deal with Sinclair to broadcast it where Sinclair cannot or a local station (CW, etc.) decide it is worthwhile to pick it up.
Bottomline, unless someone else knows something I don't we are out of luck in ATL. I don't even know if any local sports bars can pick it up due to above. I would gladly patron an establishment that carries it if they can get the feed. There are numerous USM and App alum in ATL.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
There are multiple sites online that stream all types of sporting events, not sure if they are legal or not. I have watched many different games on these sites before. Unfortunately, I just clicked links that others provided and do not know the names of any of these sites. Is there anyone on here that is familiar with any of these sites? Seems like a lot of people, myself included are screwed on this one.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
I'll give you another place that, at this time, is screwed. Boone. Just looked at my Charter listings and the only two stations with TBA football at that time are the SEC Network and ESPN. We get such gems as UNCC at Elon and Stony Brook at North Dakota but not the team that's from...oh I don't know....Boone. No Triad or Asheville stations but plenty of stations in the Charlotte market that only mention App when something goes wrong. Guess our only hope is that a local access channel will try and broadcast the game or anybody staying in town on the 20th and has Charter is out.AtlAppMan wrote:In Atanta, at this time we are screwed.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
Moose - you just gave me a pause --- I checked, the Charlotte game at Elon is on the same network at the same time --- that could be a problem for all of us -

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
I kind of wondered about that when I saw it listed here but didn't bring it up since we don't get stations from the Triad here so I didn't know who might carry Elon games. But the thought did cross my mind which is why I added that to the post.WVAPPeer wrote:Moose - you just gave me a pause --- I checked, the Charlotte game at Elon is on the same network at the same time --- that could be a problem for all of us -

The Sinclair station in the Triad market is WMYV-48. On Time-Warner Cable, you can find it on channel 15.WVAPPeer wrote:anyone know about the Greensboro area - TWC? ---

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
Charlie, when clicking on Sinclair web page map it says WXLV which is channel 45 (7-TWC)...
http://www.sbgi.net/business/television.shtml
You point to it and it shows WXLV... click on it, it goes to My48... I'm confused now! According to this there are 2.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
Steve, looks like you're right. Sinclair owns both WXLV-45 (the ABC affiliate) and WMYV-48 (the My Network TV affiliate). I'm guessing, and it's purely a guess, the App game will be on WMYV-48 (channel 15 in the Triad).YesAppCan wrote:Charlie, when clicking on Sinclair web page map it says WXLV which is channel 45 (7-TWC)...

We should know for sure on Sunday when the TWC television grid is updated.
Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
Found a solution, I think and posted it but my computer started acting up.
For those that have no Sinclair TV station in Charlotte, Atlanta, Boone and elsewhere it appears CUSA TV is showing App State -vs- SoMiss on September 20th
at 6PM. Guess you would have to pay for a month or a game, but should hopefully be a solution.

Re: App - Southern Miss TV RDU area
I can only speak for Raleigh, and maybe only for Uverse, but here the UNCC game is on 22 and the App game is on 28.
Would be interesting to see the head-to-head ratings for the games in markets where both are available.
